This is a thread I started on another forum comparing 2 of the better filters Fluval and Eheim. I own Eheim
I also use Ocean Clear canister filters on another turtle tank but they are not popular with the DIY aquarium people because it requires a pro plumbing set up. Mine was designed by someone who worked for years at the Tennessee aquarium... they work great.
